Extremely Important part of the home buying process. Most Property sales are contingent on the results of a home inspection, which is paid by the buyer. The appraisal is a standard part of the mortgage process that ensures the loan will be guaranteed by the home’s value.

you will be given the chance to look at the home prior to the closing ( Also know as the Final Walk Through) to make sure the home is in the same condition as when you signed the contract.
There will also be a title search done on the home that reviews all of the legal documents relating to ownership of the property to ensure that there are no claims against the title of the property.

During the closing, the documents are reviewed, signed, and authorized. Funds are collected and distributed and you receive the keys ( Normally ) !
